Enchanted Rock Makes a Great Hike

Visitors to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area can enjoy primitive backpacking, camping, hiking, rock climbing, picnicking, geological study, bird watching, and star gazing. Located between Llano and Gillespie counties, the rock is a huge pink granite dome that rises 425 feet above the ground. Photo courtesy of Dave Hamilton.
